Bio

A senior undergraduate student and Dizhao Artist, he has performed across the United States in various orchestras and internationally, appearing with the San Gabriel Valley Symphony, COMF Symphony Orchestra, Opera Maya Festival Orchestra, and the Rise Diversity Orchestra.
Eager to diversify his impact, Tyree is known to a wide audience for his contributions to the flute community on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, where he has amassed over 93K followers and subscribers, as well as over 10 million views. Having grown his Instagram account since March of 2020, he is recognized as one of the most popular content creators and has been named in the top 20 content creators you should follow! On these platforms, he produces content demonstrating flutes from the Flute Center of New York, as well as demonstrating flutes from Dizhao Flutes, as well as full performances, vlogs, and practice tips!
Tyree is from Hamilton, Alabama, and under the guidance of his Principal teacher, Dr. Diane Schultz, he is the third prize winner of the Florida Flute Association Young Artist Competition, Charleston Competition first Prize, Birmingham Music Guild second Prize, and Ernest Blhum first Prize! He plays on a 9-karat rose gold Dizhao flute and a rosewood Dizhao piccolo.
